The Explorer goes to the UK and the Netherlands

Since The Explorer's international launch at the Greentech Festival in Berlin in May, companies from around the world have been able to sign up and find green technology from Norway.

Now, The Explorer will present green technology from Norway at ocean-themed events in the Netherlands and the UK. This offers a great opportunity for Norwegian companies to reach new markets.

In the Netherlands

At the Sustainable Seafood Security seminar in IJmuiden, outside Amsterdam – held on September 26 – Dutch and Norwegian companies will team up to share their knowledge about and discuss pressing environmental challenges for seafood production.

Hosted jointly by Wageningen University and the Norwegian Embassy in The Hague, the one-day seminar will feature representatives from both academia and the business sector. The seminar is a run-up event to the Our Ocean conference being held in Oslo on October 23–24.

Norwegian companies Stingray and AlgaePro will go on stage to explain how their solutions can be benefical for the seafood industry.

Helene Friis, Head of The Explorer, will present The Explorer alongside representatives from the Netherlands Enterprise Agency.

In the UK

The Norwegian-British Chamber of Commerce is on October 9 hosting a Blue Opportunities event in London. The event will gather British and Norwegian companies interested in building a sustainable ocean economy.

With representatives from both government and the business sector, the one-day event will feature the presentation of several in-depth papers by industry innovators, as well as a range of talks.

Helene Friis, Head of The Explorer, will present The Explorer and promote connections between British and Norwegian companies.
